Full Size Kitchen
The full sized kitchen includes an electric range, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave oven. Smaller appliances include a toaster, electric griddle, margarita maker, crockpot, and coffee maker. Dishes, pots, pans, flatware, utensils, and kitchen towels are all provided.
Accessibility
The Roundhouse Retreat is a 3 level home and unfortunately is not wheelchair or handicap accessible. From the main entrance there are 3 steps down to lower level and 9 steps up to main level. There is a spiral staircase to the loft.
Sleeps Up To 24 People
There are 4 bedrooms plus a large bedroom loft, filled various sized beds to sleep up to 24 people. Clean bedding, pillows and extra blankets are provided.
Indoor Fun and Games
There is a TV/DVD player and plenty of movies but no TV reception. It is possible to arrange Dish TV hook up through a third party, but there is an additional fee and it must be arranged in advance. For low tech fun, there are many board games, cards, jigsaw puzzles and a small library of children’s books.
Washer and Dryer
The washer and dryer are in the utility room and detergent is provided. An ironing board and iron are also available.
Outdoor Entertainment
The large deck is equipped with a table and chairs and a large gas grill. In the yard you will find a large firepad with eight sturdy chairs, a fire ring, and plenty of firewood. There are several outdoor games, a volleyball/badmitten net, and the woods are full of trails to explore.

The Roundhouse Retreat is a spacious, 3 story geodesic home. It includes a kitchen, living room, dining area, 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, and a bedroom loft. It is heated and air-conditioned.

The Kitchen

There are two very large dining tables to easily seat 16 people. Extra tables and chairs are stored in the master bedroom closet.

Policies
Checkin & Checkout
Check-in is after 3:00 p.m. Check-out is before 11:00 a.m.
2 Day minimum on weekends
A minimum of 2 days is required for a weekend booking. It can be either Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations cancelled at least 30 days prior to arrival date, will receive a full refund of deposit.
Smoking Policy
No smoking allowed in the Roundhouse. Smoking is allowed outside.
Pets
No pets with the exception of service animals.
Notice about Firewood
Because of the spread of various tree diseases in the Iowa and surrounding states, no outside fire-wood is allowed on the property. Ample firewood is available onsite. Free will donation for the firewood is greatly appreciated.
